Scholarships will be awarded from the applications received and the winners will be presented at the El Paso County Fair’s Consumer Science Auction. These awards may be won in different years by the same individual. If the Application of a scholarship winner is found to have been submitted with false information, the scholarship will be forfeited and the applicant banned from any further El Paso County Fair Scholarship Programs. The funds awarded will be held in the El Paso County Fair Association’s Scholarship Account and will be dispersed to the financial aid office of the school in which the scholarship winner enrolls after graduation from high school. Scholarship winners may ask for a one-college semester deferment in requesting the funds. If a scholarship winner does not utilize available scholarship funds within two years of graduation from high school, the scholarship will be voided and the scholarship funds will be retained by the El Paso County Fair Association for future scholarship use
